Today the Guayaquil Symphony Orchestra offers its second face-to-face concert of the season Tribute to the victims of the Covid-19. Once again the stage will be Sanctuary of the Lord of Divine Mercy, where a select group of the orchestra will intervene after the Holy Eucharist, at 11:00. The authorized capacity for the evening will be up to 150 spectators, for which they guarantee to comply with the COE biosafety standards.
The show will include pieces of Josef Suk, Samuel Barber and three popular works by Gerardo Guevara,
According to a press release, the brass section consisting of five musicians will welcome Catholic parishioners with instrumental music.
The live concert will be recorded and broadcast on Tuesday, August 4 at 8:00 p.m. on the different platforms of the Symphony Orchestra: YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
The first concert was held on Thursday, July 23 in the same religious space, its retransmission was made on the Orchestra's social networks. The date chosen for the meeting was due to the nineteenth anniversary of the VI Summit Conference on Climate Change held in Bonn, in 2001, where 178 countries signed the terms of the Kyoto Protocol.
