Together with NAACP, Beyoncé decided to support black-owned small businesses by contributing $10 000. This step is made to give support for those, who suffered a lot during pandemic times and being affected by “recent events across the country”.
Beyoncé has already become an important person showing support for black community, acting actively in favor for their rights. This year together with one of the oldest civil organization formed back in 1909, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and her foundation BeyGood, she aims to help a wide range of people.
In order to apply for grant, the applicant should be from one of the following zones:
– Los Angeles;
– New York;
The application period is open from July 9 to July 18. The results will be published on official Beyoncé’s website by the end of the month.
Speaking about singer’s fund, it was launched in 2013 in order to help people and to encourage love, respect, and positive attitude to each other. Since then, this foundation works worldwide, helping people all over the world:
– the United States & the Caribbean;
– South America;
The role of association can’t be underestimated, as it makes our world a truly better place to live.
With this hashtag, people show their respect and support for the black community and their rights. Thanks to such influencers as Beyoncé, the problem of black people doesn’t remain undercovered in public media and attracts needed attention. Because in certain cases, it is crucially important to be loud and make everyone hear and understand simple truths.
